Glitter in the rough
Being in the rough is an uncomfortable place to be, when we feel like the world is dark around us.

Everything that glitters isn’t gold. Every diamond does not shine; they reflect.
Many things when we look at them, on the outside, look beautiful and perfect. In which there’s a good chance that it may be opposite.
What may look good now; has had to go through trials and rough times to get there. Presenting itself as perfect and without blemish. Are you able to spot a fake?
The reality is, we can only find the truth from seeking within and healing the pieces that are deceptive in reflection.
Trigger vs. Truth
Your anger reminds you of how you refuse to be treated. Your anger allows you to keep healthy boundaries with those who don’t deserve your energy.
Have you ever been in a situation that seemed to bring about all the things you don’t like about yourself? It’s like a constant trigger of reinforcement on wounds that never seem to have the time to heal. Even though… time and time again you are lead to believe you have…
I was reading a meme that stated, your anger is your friend. Your anger reminds you of how you refuse to be treated. Your anger allows you to keep healthy boundaries with those who don’t deserve your energy. They basically made anger out to not be such a bad thing.
Well, that’s when it’s directed in the right place.
I do agree, sometimes triggers can be a sign of something being wrong, causing a red flag to appear on your doorstep. I also believe, at times, it is a reminder that you still have more healing to do. The hardest part is simply figuring out which is the correct view.
Honestly, the correct view is what your inner self tells you. That inner self is the voice that takes over after the first 60 seconds of lashing out.
What does it say to you? The answer to your question is in that moment. Is it worth it or not?
