WHY YOUR GROWTH IS BEING STUNTED!

Next time you find yourself in unsettling circumstances, take a moment to look in the mirror and look deeper than the surface. Don’t just look at what you are doing wrong, but…

Have you ever just sat and asked yourself, what is wrong with me?

Why are so many things not going in my favor?

What am I doing wrong?

Many of us ask ourselves these questions often. There is nothing wrong with asking ourselves these questions, if we are asking from a place of growth.

Not everyone reflect on the past as a way to grow and get better; but as a way to beat themselves down for what happened… as a way to feel bad for themselves and relinquish guilt through projecting.

Then…. next thing you know…

The same thing happens again…..and again…. and AGAIN!

The reason why, is because you never really did the shadow work to begin with. Instead of getting better, you complained and swept it under the rug; BECAUSE YOU WEREN’T THE PROBLEM? Is that what it was?

Next time you find yourself in unsettling circumstances, take a moment to look in the mirror and look deeper than the surface. Don’t just look at what you are doing wrong, but applaud all the things you are doing exceptional. Don’t just beat yourself up, but allow yourself to level up. Don’t just blame other people, take accountability for what YOU did.

That’s the only way we can stop the madness!

Stop chilling so much!

Don’t get me wrong, I am one of the biggest advocates for self-care and preservation, but let’s keep it real. Some of us work like 30 minutes then start chilling for 2 hours. That’s not how it works! If you are working on something, most of your time should be going towards accomplishing that goal.

Those breaks should be a fraction of our time, not a whole half of the pie.

I know it’s not always on purpose. Sometimes, it’s something that works somewhat like a rabbit hole. One second you are scrolling your timeline or playing your favorite game; then next thing you know… 2 hours have gone by and you are now telling yourself “I’ll finish that tomorrow”.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Get up and do that shit TODAY! GET UP AND DO THAT SHIT NOOOOOOOW!

Tomorrow is not promised for anyone… as I’m sure many of us have come to learn as we lose loved ones around us.

Take heed… and let’s stop chilling so much.
