Math Tutoring
I am a licensed K-12 Special Education, Middle School Math, and Algebra 1 Math educator in the state of Tennessee, with 7 years of experience. During my years in the classroom, Over 85% of my students grew at least 2 grade levels in both English & Math. During the 2022-2023 school year my students with mild/moderate disabilities scored a level 4 (more than expected) in math.
During my time teaching, I have taught 6-11th ELA as an inclusion special education teacher and Algebra as a General Education teacher. I left the classroom due to the inability to provide individualized support in the way students needed. With the changing education system, it is becoming more about the finances and tests, than student development oftentimes.
My mission is to apply patience and practical tools to help your scholar master various concepts in their studies. I am also able to meet with you as a parent to help you understand different teaching/instructional practices to help you with your child’s school work.
