Accepting the truth

The hardest thing to do, sometimes, is to look in the mirror and acknowledge your mishaps. It can get so easy to look at what has happened around you and who is at fault for the problem, and ignore the role you play in what may have happened.

This unknown wave of actions is what typically puts us in similar situations over and over again…. because we do the same thing; expecting something different.

What are some of those traits that you carry into work and relationships spaces; that may not work well with others?

These are questions we have to ask ourselves if we really want to ascend to something greater.

I’m saying this not from a place of authority; but a place of humility and understanding. I understand that I too, have been a transgressor before and allowed the actions placed upon me to be a martyr for my reaction. When in the reality, life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react.

How we react matters most… and it’s time that we take responsibility for the roles we may have played in some of our life’s mishaps.

Once you take notice, I want you to burn the list and make a conscious effort to move forward from those negative traits.

Let’s not allow ourselves to be slaves to our lower selves… I want that for us all… so we can keep living out loud!
